O.K.

I'm looking for someone to Dynamatt my car, probably all 4 doors and boot space, I'll provide the goods. Just need someone who's done this a number of times and is confident of their own ability. I'll pay the right price.. I'm based in the East Midlands.

Please send me an e-mail if your interested.

I'll try and give you all the advice you need to be confident to do it yourself. It's not difficult, and the Impreza is an easy car to take apart and put back together...

Chiark,

Thanks very much but I own an EVO6, used to have an impreza though and setill frequent this BBS. I'm not willing to have a go with the Dynamatt as I want a professional job doing so I'll guess I'll send it into a car hi-fi place. I want both the inner and outer parts of the front door doing so it may get a little tricky.

Viper, was the place near Buxton any good? and do you know what they charge per hour.

I may be looking at around 3-4 hours of dynamatting at around £30-£35 per hour.

Car Electronics in Leicester are very good for that sort of thing, don't know what there hourly rate is though.

They also have shops in Derby and Nottingham I think.

Matt,

Have you ever had any work done from Car Electronics? I used the one in Derby once and never again. The did such a poor install that I had to re-install the front speakers in my golf, in fact they had screwed the fronts in using just one screw. I had a major barny with them when the called me up 2 hours into the job and said they has callculated the price for the job incorrectly and demanded an extra £160, well you can imagine what I said. Perhaps that's why the didn't bother doing the install correctly. Once bitten.......
