I want to upgrade the system on my MY01. Want a single DIN unit with a boot mounted changer and new speakers for the front doors.

Don't want to go as far as intalling a sub or amps.

What will give me the best results? More interested in sound quality and clarity than loudness.

Stitchy - I've put a component system in the doors; Kenwood 5" Dual mags with pasive xovers and tweeters. I fixed the xovers to the door cards and the tweeters to the door just behind the handle grill (It seems to be designed for tweeters but there aren't any factory fitted ones).

Took the existing feed to the 'cardboard' existing speakers and fed that to the xover - then fed the new Kenwoods from there. Really pleased with the results off my Kenwood Head unit. Dropped some Pioneers (few makes match up with existing hole without modification)in the rear shelf to finish off.

Factory speakers made me chuckle - I think they must train hamsters to regurgitate old toilet rolls so they can make them! :-)
