These speakers are less than a year old and have hardly been played

The fronts are the 165k polykevlar ones with tweeters/crossover and retailed at £300

The rears are the 690 HC, Polyflex and retailed at £200, I also have some mdf, carpeted sleeve to fit between the 6*9's and the parcel shelf

They both can take a lot of power and were the reason why I didnt go for the cheaper focals.. the fronts are about 3 units up on the base Focal speakers

They are 6.5 inch fronts and are relatively easy to fit.. the crossovers are ideal for underneath the door...and are easy to fit

Fronts £175
Rear £120

I have a habit of throwing away money and cant stay with the same speakers all the time..

I also prefer Dyn Audio to Focal.. But then the Dyns are more expensive.. call it an upgrade..

Steve

Do you know if the 6x9's will fit into the parcel shelf on a STi8 ( I think the shelf is the same as on the STi7) without having to cut through the metal?

Cheers

Simon

Not sure on the sti8/7, mine was an sti5.. Not heard of anyone having any probs... Cant really see why the sti8 shelf would be different to the sti5/6 - but I could be wrong

I mounted them underneath the shelf, with a carpetted mdf spacer between the shelf and the speaker... Once the rear speakers were out..which is fairly time consuming replacing them with the 6*9's took me about 10 minutes! and made a huge improvement!

Hi Steve -
Interested in the 6x9s (to go with the Dyn's in the front - not going to stick that much cash on the back shelf thanks very much!)
I should probably mail - might remember in the morning, might not.. chase me up if I forget!
