Spacer Question
#1
I'm interested in comments about the types of spacer used to fit larger spkrs in front of my MY02. Alpine HU has nearly finished off the std spkrs now.
Should I try to build my own out of MDF or do the Vauxhall Corsa plastic ones work well?

Nigel - Don't use plastic! It'll cause more problems than you have at the moment!
Get a bit of MDF and a jigsaw - they don't have to be perfect, as you're not going to see them. If you've got some room for an angle - this might give you some ideas:
OK, those were kick panels, but you get the idea!
Apologies for this tiny picture, but this is all you really want to do:

I mutilated the existing pods and chucked a piece of 12mm MDF on the front of 'em in my old install - Chrome's now using them
Might try and put more effort into the next one. Will have a look to see how hard it will be to make a few up whilst I'm doing one...
