I fitted my sat-nav and screen and it works but (there had to be a but ) I find the audible directions a bit quiet and seem to only work from the left speakers, I also fitted a tv tuner and that also only uses the left speakers but radio and CD are fine

Oh and one other problem is that I can not receive medium wave

Can someone help me please

 

Sounds like the tuner and nav are mono output only. Is there a software setting for this? Most standalone screens with integrated speaker are mono only...

Other solution? Turn the volume up

 

The manual does not contain and idiot section, so I still have probs with the tv tuner in mono and no medium wave reception.

 

Silly Q, but does the unit actually have MW?????

 

Could be totally incorrect here, but I just fitted a new head unit and got no medium wave reception till I connected the power antenna lead which powers the rear winscreen aerial. Then it was sorted.

Just the tv tuner to go, I can't imagine the Alpine unit being mono I am now resorting to reading the manual

Still no medium wave tho!

And the volume is up most of the time
