Hey everyone. I'm Paul, owner of Fire & Ice and also ImportNeonUK. Here's a little bit about me... I've been in the car modding and ICE business for several years now. I was the first person to bring under body neons into the UK, and also the first and only supplier of StreetGlow neons to the UK. Recently we've expanded our ICE supply and install services- hence our sister company Fire & Ice.

I know that commercial advertising of products on the board is a no-no, I wont list any of our stock etc- that's not why I'm here. I really just want to know what you guys and girls are interested in, and also to help out with any ICE related questions you have. I love what I do, and helping people with their ICE questions is what I do best!

Thanks everyone,
Paul Warner

Thanks for the intro Paul, welcome to the board

Can you email simon@scoobynet.co.uk or shaun@scoobynet.co.uk as we have an "authorised advertiser" tag which would suit you. It's free , and it basically stops people from jumping down your throat if you do post commercially as it means you've read and understand the guidelines. The words "authorised advertiser" appear where the scoobynetplus member does in my profile.

Cheers,
Nick.

Bit of hostility towards the neons then? To be fair, a proper StreetGlow (not a Lax Power one ) kit looks very impressive when installed. The problems come when people don't put the time in to properly hide the tubes etc. or buy cheap knock-offs. Although they don't increase the hp of a car (as much as some people think they do!) they do look great IMO when done properly.

LOL... I had some guy shout over to me while I was working on the car "are you gonna put some neons under that like the fast and the furious?"

My reply was "depends... will it improve my 0-60 time?"

No I haven't built any myself. My college generally does the manufacturing of any boxes etc. that we sell. I keep my hands clean and just handle the sales . Re: the enclosures, are we talking front or rear loaded? As for venting, seeing as aperiodic boxes rely on sealed units, I'm not sure what venting you would be referring to. I can't recall anyone wanting an aperiodic box, SPL seems to be king round here.

As for venting, seeing as aperiodic boxes rely on sealed units,
Aperiodic setups are, for the vast majority, unboxed and simply rely on infinite baffle... That's the appeal.
