Does anyone have this headunit?

I'm interested in buying it for my car and wondered if anyone has heard anything about it or had any problems with one????

I've just bought one, and had it professionally fitted and I think it's fab. With Infinity speakers front and rear and without an amp (the output is 4x50) I think it sounds really good.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend either this or the top of the range (PSW9524) which a friend has in his scoob.

Check out www.caraudiosecurity.com for some good prices.

Forgot to mention, it's the first time I've had a Kenwood mask system and watching it slide away is quite a novelty still!!

Scooby Snacks 23, Ive been offered the Kenwood KDCPSW9524 for £200 but they cant confirm if it has the Warrenty. Do you think I should just buy it from a reputable shop or risk wasting £200!

Ahhhhhhhhhh such a hard decision!!!!!

Also, how much on average did you spend on the speakers? Just a ball park figure as I have no clue as to what I should be looking at spending!

Bex,

If I was offered the PSW9524 for £200, I would take it! Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about the warranty.

As for speakers, I think they were Infinity 6500cs and they were around £100 per pair.

Good luck

You can get 'em new for 360 if you shop around. If you have no guarantee at all, it isn't worth it... If the retraction mechanism goes wrong, it will be an expensive fix.
