Anyone tried MB Quart 6.5" coaxials?

Anyone tried MB Quart 'Discus' DKD 116 or 'Reference' RKC 116 speakers in the front doors? Even the cheaper ones are more expensive than what I wanted to spend but they do look perfect for what I want. I'm running a 4x50w head unit and don't want to put an amp or subs in ... well not yet anyway
These MB Quart's are rated at 50-120w with a range of 40-32,000Hz. With no subs, I want the front and rears to at least have a go at some low drum 'n' bass and I welcome as much treble as I can get!
Any thoughts?

WOW...I'm still here...
I don't think I've ever heard a set of MB's before...not sure.
But the specs for the set and your hu don't match very well by the looks. The hu puts out 50x4 max...you only get around 20 watts of clean power from each channel, rms.
IMHO,go with the Infinity line with that kind of power.

Thanks RockinRu. I thought the MB Quart's looked suitable because the input range starts at 50 watts but I always assume figures quoted are for peak power. you could be right, though - if they're rated at 50w-120w RMS, then my head unit wouldn't be pushing them very hard.
Maybe I'll go back to my original plan and get some cheaper Pioneer TS-E1675s front and rear - I know that the 50-180w range that they quote is definitely peak rather than RMS.
Incidentally, I just KNEW that someone would tell me to get Infinitys, lol ! I wonder if every Scooby owner thinks that Infinitys are the bee's knees if you can't afford Focals .... or whether it's just a Scoobynet thing !

Heheh...
Nah,Infinity happens to make one of the best bang-fertha-buck sets around. At least for running from hu power alone.
I'd DEFINETLY go with the Infinity over the Pioneer...any day.
There are many excelent brands that would work with that power.Rainbow,Focal,MB,CDT...but these sets sound better mostly because of the quality of the xovers. They have more "guts" in them for attenuation but cause more of a parasitic loss in power,or "heat".
So when it comes to 20 or so watts rms...it narrows things down a bit.
