CD Autochanger for STI 8
#1
My official dealer is still (5 months) waiting for a part to connect the official Kenwood autochanger to my car. Apparently it’s an adapter to connect the wire from the changer to the head unit. Anybody know what it is and how I can get one quick.
How much?

You just need the standard Kenwood cable, included with any Kenwood changer, and included in the official subaru kit.
Personal opinion: I would be asking the dealer why they are selling you an incomplete kit in the first place. I am of an opinion as to the reason, but I'm not going to voice it.
Get your money back and order a new CD changer from any decent place on the web. You'll save a shedload, and it'll turn up next day likely as not.
Cheers,
Nick.

CD changer was part of the deal when I bought the car, so I've paid nothing. (You know how it works, agree a price and you say go on then if you throw in a CD changer). They seem genuine because I'm getting a free service out of the delay.
