Can anyone tell me what these are ?

Looking to repace the standard head unit and speakers.

Want to fit tweeters as well. I'm planning to use Blaupunkt as I can get this stuff at staff discount but don't know what sizes will fit (short of stripping out the panels - and it's abit cold outside at the minute)

 

Most 6.5" will fit with the right spacer (12mm-18mm) as will 6". It is the depth of the driver that you need to be considering as the available depth is limited.

So where do I get sspacers from are these readily available ?

And how much space is there for the tweeter ?

 

You can either make them yourself using mdf and the existing speaker as a template, or Cambridge Car Audio on Newmarket Road sell em for £5 each.

You will probably find you have tweeters already - I did, though they are rubbish. There is enough room for most types of tweeters that come with component sets in the space set aside by the door handle.
