These have become quite cheap now (<£500). There were some offers on them late last year.
PM me if you're interested in single DIN nav. We have occasional refurb Becker/Sony-alikes.

I've installed one in a MY04 WRX 5 Door with the Blaupunkt in dash changer fiited below. This has been with Infinity 5000CS speakers in the front and replacement Infinity rears with a JL Audio 4-channel amp and 10" JLA Sub.
I was after cheap satnav for occasional use with decent sound quality. The unit was better than the standard double din units before the amp was installed but I was only satisfied once the JLA kit was installed. Now it sounds fab (I'm not a bass/high volume junkie, just wantered decent sounds).
The satnav is very accurate and fast enough (much better than my old '99 Audi) and can navigate to nearest Car Parks/Petrol Stations/Hotels etc can store 24 locations. The interface isn't brilliant but OK when you get used to it. If you buy the RC10 remote then satnav can be controlled from the steering wheel.
After 2 months the GPS system has failed but the warranty is pretty good as Blaupunkt collect the unit for repair.
I bought mine for £475 from www.bluespot.co.uk who have helped with the warranty probs and their email response is fast.
Personally the unit has OK build quality bit Pioneer and Sony seem better built but their satnav head units were at least £800.
