*URGENT* Help required fitting ICE to 01WRX
Can somebody give me some advice pretty quickly please?
I am currently fitting a Blaupunkt MP72 head unit and A09 dash mount cd changer to mine and have removed the standard head unit ok but I am stuck as to how the A09 mounts to the vehicle?
I see the head unit will mount to the subaru mounting frame when removed from the original head unit but there's no holes on the side of the changer to do the same.
Can somebody who's fitted this help me out please as sad as I am,i'm fitting it in the garage on a friday night and would like to get the job done tonight if poss?? lol
Do I need to purchase extra hardware?
Cheers
Nick

Thanks guys....
Yep,it was a pig to fit but is now done, thank god!! lol
You're right about anything other than stock needing imagination to fit!!
One tip I can give to people is when you've mounted both units in the original Subaru frame and then inserted it into the aperture using the six black screws, don't tighten the four bottom screws too tight as it pulls the unit out enough so that the silver surround doesn't fit back on properly around the bottom of the stereo.
If the screws are loosened slightly then the head unit and changer sit perfectly inside the slot of the silver surround...
Once you've fitted one, then it'll be easy to do the same job again!!
Cheers
