Want to start building a system in my MY99. Want to start with the basics and work up.

First on my list is getting the most out of my speakers, i want to sound proof the doors and boot but have no idea how or where to start.

Has anyone got any advise? How much does it cost and is is something i can do myself (honestly)? What type or manufaturer should i be looking out for?

Any advise or help gladly recieved.

 

The proper stuff is sold by ICE dealers, casn't remember it's name, sorry. I've used some sticky-backed stuff sold as flashing for houses. It cost about £8 for a long roll, (25m) and I've done both front doors so far, it works well.

dynamat extreme is what u want and it's pricey

if you go to the reading meet, I have some i could do for £15 a roll as opposed to £20-£25.

u'll need 4 rolls prob.
