Default advice pls

I have a Sony head unit, 10 disk external cartridge, remote control on the steering column and adjustable Infinity bass thing. I don't have any mini disk player tho so am wondering if there is anyway to connect my mp3 player to the head unit...there are no spare inputs so I guess I'll need a new one.

Are there any head units that are specifically designed with this in mind...I'm thinking just a stereo output top a head phone jack in the glove box?

Help I don't understand these things!!!

there is a way around every problem, if you put a 1m rca onto the cd cgr input, and have 2 female-female rca connectors, run the cd chgr rca and the one to the headunit to the same place, just plug your input into the headunit end and select cd, bingo, to listen to cd, just swap them over. hope this helps, if not just let me know and í will xplain further, just in a rush now!

Thumbs up

Sony do a source selector device to enable one of their headunits to control more than one changer.
Mine does MD and CD changers.
Costs about £30

you need 2 changers for it to work though, no good for a personal mp3 player.
