Default Live wire thru to engine bay

As the title really, MY00, want to fit a sub with its own amp, therefore was thinking of taking the live off the battery so...

Whats the best way/is there an existing grommet to use, I noticed a blanking grommet on the drivers side bulkhead, but this looks awkard as its directly behing the dashboard. Or do you suggest taking a live from elsewhere ?

All help appreciated as I am a novice in this area. Any tips on installing sound deading to the doors also appreciated, bought the film today, but it looks a difficult job.

Thanks in advance !
Rick

Pull the carpet out on the pass side, there is a gromet just up on the right, give that a try, if you use it, make sure that it is well tied up, and wont catch on anything, i.e. driveshafts

Thumbs up

There's a big oval one on my '98 car on the n/s, I just made a + slit in it and passed all my lives and gauges wiring went through no probs.
