Default Power lead on Kenwood cd multichanger

I can't find my manual.
Should the yellow fused fly lead from the main cd changer lead be connected to a permanent or switched live? Is it for memory or power? Cheers

Typical I connected it to a switched feed.

Yeah, cd end has an earth lead coming out of it, head unit end has a yellow fused wire coming out of it.
