if you speak to your local ice dealer, and ask them to get you some corsa speaker pockets(made by autoleads) for the front doors, then any 5.25"speakers will fit lovely without any body mods needed,i have alpine speakers in mine and the sound top notch, the speakers came with tweeters and x-overs so i replaced the o.e tweeters with the alpine ones, all in all it cost me £90 to upgrade the fronts and alpine 10cm speakers in the rear were £30

Thumbs up speaker upgrade

hi virgin
i gave up looking for speaker upgrade took the car for an estimate on door speakers any thing from 250 up
because the door space is limited you can only fit shallow speakers without any mods and doors need sound profing more exspence and weight
so i fitted a 12inch sub in the boot with a 250 watt amp keeping the door speakers as standerd
what a difference dont bother with changing door speakers just fit a sub

When fitting front door speakers, also fit some protection to stop your speakers from getting ruined by the excessive amount of water, that falls into the doors!!

try doing a search for bass junkies or cel-direct on the net, both of these companies stock them
