Hi.
My Type R v6 has no tunes whatsoever being a v.ltd and i would like to make amends. Being an ice newbie im not sure on speaker diameters/mounting depth etc and dont really want to cut the door card for external pods. Also, ive got a solid rear bulkhead with cut outs for speakers but they are the shape of a chain on a bike. Can i put my focal 6x9's in there?
Doug.

You should just use round 17cm(i think) front and rear. I have Kenwood Dual Mags in the rear shelf which just needed a little wood cutting. the fronts I have components with the tweeters behind the grills on the door, then an 10"sub in the boot. It works well not on often though the Scooby sound is usually enough

Sound. Been offered a set of 17cm infinity's for nothing from a mate. I'll use them as dummys to see if they fit. And yes, normally the noise is good enough but found that when driving for a few hundred miles at a constant speed it has a tendancy to put you to sleep!lol
