....as I know this is a ridiculously common question.

BUT! can someone please confirm that it's the 6500cs Infinity's that fit the front door's of a MY04 WRX?

Also, what spacers do I need? I have read that some people are using stuff from the states, but I don't have the patience to wait for them - what can I buy and use from the UK (Halfrauds?)

Final question - once I've fitted the speakers, spacers and dynamatted the doors, will the door panel actually go back on, or will that need to be packed away from the door also?

The 6000cs ( not as deep as the 6500cs ) fit with a 12mm MDF spacer. The 6500's may need 18mm.

 

Details in the FAQ (which you've read, of course), but I used 2 x 12mm MDF spacers for 6500cs in an 05 wrx. Door panel fits on fine, but check my notes on removing the plastic inner door card speaker rings to avoid rattle'age.
