Have a set off Alpine spr 136a componets speakers here which I plan to fit to the wifes hyundai coupe, notice that these particular speakers are the smaller 13 cm ??? as opposed to the larger 16.5 ?? cm type ones, the hyundai uses this larger 16.5 size will I get away with making up an mdf adapter plate to hold this smaller size speaker ?? and is there going to be much lost in performance by going for this slightly smaller size of speaker ??

sorry if the above sounds a stupid question !!! total ice newcomer here and just a little confused !!

believe the alpine spr 136a speakers I have hear are actually very good performers hence I would rather keep them and try use make use off them.

any help / advice much appreciatted.
