FOCAL Utopia Components
Hi
I am looking to buy a set of FOCAL UTOPIA 6.5" components for my MY98 Classic.
1. will these fit in the front
2. if not, can a spacer be used or summin to clear the elec windows?
any help from the SN ICE experts will be GREATLY appreciated

ANYONE???? No-one fitted any front components in their classic(s)....

hi mate
i have fitted 165 Vslims in the front doors of an 05wrx with only 12mm spacers (mounting depth on them is 56mm and that was too deep!!!)
the Utopia 165's are huge, and the size of the spacer you will need to avoid the window will guaranteed make the cones foul on the doorcard.
Insane amounts of money too, but each to their own.
I thought the Vslims were a lot of dosh until i heard them.
but as said above, they wont fit

Took me a week or so to sort with spacers behind the speakers to miss the windows and then another in front to push the door card clear of the cones, but............... I got 180w s in the front doors of my classic! (Thats the 7inch Utopias for those that didn't know!! 
)
It all comes down to how badly you want them! (I wanted them bad!! )
Just thought I'd let you know it can be done!!

THANX 4 the info...but i dont want them THAT Badly LOL...I can appreciate y though...sound quality is simply THE BEST....Probably go 4 the slim...cant b that bad.....relatively.
