Default TV/DVD Headunits on ebay...

considering a kenwood one is £700+ these seem a bit of a bargain at £350.

Has anyone seen one of these working? Are they any good or just cheap crap?

similar to my old unit.

it was excellent, I have never dealt with that seller, but if his units are half as good as my old one, I would say go for it

I got it off ebay mate, it was a private seller that had it given to him for a present, luckily for me he didnt know his head from his ****, that coupled with the very vague advert I got it at a great price

digging this one out from the archives...

i'm going to hong kong in a few weeks and thinking of picking up one of the cheap monitor/headunits while i'm there.

has anyone fitted one to a newage?

i thought i read there were issues with the size of the thing and it not fitting into the dash due to the non standard double din sized.

any views?

thanks

Fitted something similar to mates Bugeye over the weekend, he got it from HK via ebay with 6 disc DVD multichanger for £290+35 P&P. It is tight in the double din hole to the extent that the screen won't tilt, no biggy as he has the multichanger & would probably fit ok after a bit of filling. It's not a bad unit but menu's etc are a bit of a fiddle & doesn't have the quality of a Kenwood etc but very good for the money. Not decided weather to get one for myself yet or go for a Kenwood / JVC unit & pay a bit more.....
