Trying to decide wether to get some brown bread and stick it around wheel arches etc to cut down road noise, or wether to just get some underlay in the boot, or both?

Or do nothing at all! Have people who have done this noticed a drastic drop in noise levels inside the cabin? What had the most effect?

How much would I need to also put inside the door and is that worth the hassle?

cheers,

greg

hey!

i used 4 rolls and did the boot area, rear wheel arches and the bit under the rear seats.

Made a big difference (can hear the rear passengers a lot easy unfortunately )

Im letting an expert do the doors so ill report back when i get the car back!!

Underlay in the boot is devastatingly effective, takes 10 mins to cut it out. Put two layers in for extra fun. No wonder my decat exhaust sounds tame below 4000rpm - at least from inside the car!
