I am about to collect an 05 sti having had a wrx 03 previously i know how poor the sound system is.

I want to improve sound but do not want to cut metal work on doors or fit new speaker positions.

Can you reccomend a good head unit and replacement speakers for the front and rear doors ( my kids complain they could hardly hear in the back)
don,t mind fitting spacers etc.

Just after reasonably good sound no need for bass box etc!!

How much do you have to spend?

 

had figure of £300 - 400 in mind although will spend less main requirement is cd and radio no interest in ipod etc
