It worked.
Not too bad.
You have all the right equipment, but these are the bugs I see, just my opinion...
Bad tweeter wire splice. It WILL give you problems down the road.
Tweeter location;way too close to the ear for good imaging. You want it as far away as possible.(but if it's factory location,I suppose...)
Move all sub box mounts to the sides, not the front.Ugly.
And get rid of the cat/dog hair on the rear deck!
and the controls of the car are on the wrong side too.Fix that!
Seriously, looks good.Great install. But could be excellent with attention to detail.

LOL@Left hooker driver!!
Agree with what he says though. A bit more time spent tidying up the boot would make a big difference. You shoulnt be able to see the wires like you can. Have a re-think, and rather than just leaving it as it is, spend another weekend and it will look awesome!! Tidy your splices is a good idea. A bit of moisture in that pvc tape and it could mess up badly
Id recommend a bit of dynamat in those front doors as well!!!
Nice effort though

Hi all
The pvc tape is just to safe guard the bullett type connectors that they are connected to.
I have now sound deadened the front doors, what a difference that makes,i would recommend to any one to use sound deading it is worth the money.
You are right i do need to tidy the boot wires and the bass box i will get round to it.
The tweeters are in the right place as far as i am concerned.
Peace

My car (MY00) didn't have the tweeter brackets in it. Dealer will only sell them as part of the tweeter kit at ~£41 +VAT - sod that. So...made up a small wooden stand-off in wedge shape and used hot glue gun to stick to door panel (make a cut-out in the plastic liner first). Then hot-glued the tweeter to the wood block. Hey presto, job done, cost nil (used old bits of wood).
