Change the front speakers, and a sub in the boot.
And use a 4-channel amp to power the lot.

Thumbs up

Well,to be nice about it;factory ice sucks for the music enthusiast..."audiophile".If you want better sound and MP3,go for the Kenwood first. If you have the money,go for upgraded front speakers, like the Infinity components,as the next step. Then you can decide on an amp.
Your budget and goals will help us help you.

J/

That's sensible talk. It's a damn good job I was sitting down.

Seriously: what J has recommended is probably about as far as you want to go with ICE. Buy stuff with that endpoint in mind - ie decent front speakers one month, then a 4 channel amp when you can afford it, then a sub&box for the rear.

Of course, you can go really mad if you want to...

What are you trying to achieve? Sonic dominance or just a nice sounding system?

Nick...bugger off.

I'm only a part time muppet...(the rest of the time I usually fiddle with me bellybutton).

I'm running uprated headunit, front speakers...and a sub in the rear...all powered by a 4-channel amp - and I know that this is the way to go
