Hi Folks,

Looking for a bit of advice on the above. Basic story is my Dad's ancient CD multichanger has finally given up the ghost and he was gonna replace it and stick with the 8 year old Sony head unit he already has. I reckon he's better off with an MP3/ WMA based new head unit.

He doesn't want to pay the earth - say £100 - £150 max so I'm looking for recommendations. Unit MUST play WMA's as all the music he has on his PC is ripped to WMA's not MP3's and it saves hassle.

Other than that unit is to go into an old C-Class Merc .

Any suggestions...... ?

Mine was £90 off e-Bay, brilliant unit, controls a minidisc AND a CD changer in the boot, plays MP3 WMA etc, and has a front jack for playback off an iPOd, Sony HD3/5 unit etc. 4 x 52 W too. Add a credit-card sized remote, (free), and buy a steering wheel type remote for an extra £20, and you're set.
