Advice on setting up sub
My Scoob came with a subwoofer, amp and upgraded speakers. It sounded great. I removed the single DIN stereo (Pioneer DEH-P77MP) in order to fit a nice silver pocket under it, this cleared all the settings and I haven't been able to get it sounding right ever since.
I'm a complete newbie to this, never had a car with a sub/amp before. I have the manual for the stereo, but the instructions are very vague. Is there a guide somewhere that explains what the different settings should be? It sounds far too bassy with the volume turned up; I'd like to reduce the bass so it still sounds good but doesn't drown everything else out.
Here's a couple of picture of the set-up:

nice....reminds me of mine!!!
Press audio till you get "SUB.W." in the display - turn the encoder till it says "SUB.W.NOR"
Press Audio till "80 HZ" appears on the display -
PRESS the rotary encoder to select either 50/80/125hz cut off points. ONLY FREQUENCIES BELOW THE SELECTED CUT OFF POINT WILL BE CHANNELED TO YOUR SUB. -
ROTATE the encoder to select the level you want (+/-6) this way you turn the bass down a bit and not drown it all out!
hope this helps you mate

Hi mate,
glad to see you still have my old baby! Not sure if you have resolved the issue but you can adjust the sub from the headunit by adjusting the sub setting up or down. Failing this there is a gain control on the bottom of the amp which can also be adjusted.
Cheers,
Dan
