Sub fitting to standard music system?
My daughter bought a Alpine sub,Amp and Alpine speakers and tried to have it fitted to a corsa standard head unit and the installer said i couldnt be done due to the connections.Question can it be fitted to the a Standard MY06 head unit?

You can get speaker level to line level (RCA) converters, I believe Alpine do one.
It would be much better though to change your headunit to something with RCA outputs, most but the cheapest will have these.

it can be done (as escott says) either with the line conversions or a different amp with speaker level inputs. i would change the head unit as a starting point if i were you though

I'm surprised the amp didn't come with hi-low connectors as well as the standard RCA fitments. Mine did when I fitted mine, although it wasn't an Alpine.
As the guys here say, with the right adapters / connectors you can fit the amp to any stereo; that said I don't think the standard Subaru players have RCA outputs?
