Kenwood DDX 5022 Ariel Adaptor required??

After seeing a few threads on here, i have ordered a DDX 5022. Can anyone who has installed this unit themselves tell me if i will need an ariel adaptor please?

The car is a MY05 WRX.

Don't know how relevant to you this is but, no adapter was needed for a dnx5220 in to a my 07 WRX

Hi

No adapter required for my 03 Blob eye WRX.

Should be fine - the stereo has a female connector.
Top, top stereo by the way - I'm well happy with mine.
