Default Help with bypassing the parking led - headunit

Probably should have asked this before taking the OE unit out. But where and how do I mount the parking brake LED wire if I want to have the unit playing even if the handbrake isn't on?

I've got a JVC AVX810 thanks to a thread on here

If I just crimp it to the HU grounding lead will that work?

yes they normally just require a ground

I amazed myself, apart from having to take it all out again cause I forgot to connect the ariel (sp?) everything works first time!

great have just fitted a JVC KD-AVX44 into the noble and was just gonna ask this.

Thats fine with me, the Noble stereo is fitted on the passenger side so TBH i couldnt watch it anyway, its more for wifey on a long trip.

See page 2 of the FAQ. This is what I did with my JVC AVX800. If you permanently crimp it you can't switch between the video playback and the normal display.
