no worries

so anyone got any good pics of their ICE installs?

been reading up on it all night and morning and lol bloody hell didnt realise it was that hard to fit a sub and amp in and wire up and all the rest.. i used to think it was straightforward, didnt realise it was harder.. maybe the chavs need some credit for some of the installs in their cars lol

I did similar and it's really good.
First off if you haven't, get a decent head unit.
I used Infinity 6.5"'s at the front (Infinity KAPPA 60.7CS in my case, but there;s probably better out now) and mounted the tweeters on the wing mirror triangle.
Two 2 channel amps under each seat (US Amps XT800.2 - fit beautifully), 1 to run the front speakers and 1 for an old Earthquake 12" sub in the boot.

That's it so far, will replace the parcel shelf speakers next and see if I can remove the sub in the boot.

i havent any good pictures atthe minute as i just installed it and realised i actually completely hate the layout but the gear is :

Alpine x001 ipod headunit
Alpine SPR 17s Type R Components
Kenwood 1768 Rear speakers
2 x 12" Fli subs in passive enclosure
1x Fli mono amp for subs
1x Fli 4channel amp.

sounds ok, not enough bass as i think the fli amps are severely lacking power, but for free i cant complain

hopefully going to stealth fit a kenwood mono amp in the new year but kep the fli mono in for show.

and do a rebuild as i really really really hate the current layout
