I have been looking for a good head unit to fit my 03wrx, not bothered about cd's just want to use with ipod and usb storage. I have noticed the alpine ida x series of media receivers, seem to fit the bill nicely. Only thing is the x300 appears to be the only one with a green display, the x200 has better spec, has anyone had an x300 with ipod direct cable and if so what do you think of it, the x100 is even better with a tft display, but I dont fancy a blue or red display, any advice welcomed

 

I have the older version of the X100 and its very very good.
Cant fault it at all
the ipod direct cable is just like plugging into any ipod accessory
