Mail order ICE any suggestions
#1
Once again asking for info. Can anyone suggest retailers for head units, speakers etc. I plan to install myself so mail order may be the best route.
I also want to know where you get dynamat at sensible prices, or any alternatives.
Thanks in advance,
Kenny.

Best bet, buy max power! It has loads of ICE companies advertising in the back. They will haggle as well. I have used RS audio, and Marsden (although they dont trade under this name). Both were a little slow, but if you can handle approx 10 days from order to delivery I reccomend them.
1 tip. I have always been dubious as to the trustworthyness of the sort of people selling this cut price ICE, so if you can get it delivered to another address, parents, work etc etc and avoid giving you home card address. That way, if they are going to pass your details to anyone dodgy, your ICEd up car aint going to be parked outside!

I bought an Alpine head unit from Empire Direct who seemed OK. Not sure of their number but they had an ad in one of the Car HiFi mags. Make sure you pay by credit card and then you are protected against fraud, insolvency, etc.
