Having a nightmare.

need insurance on a modded 22B. Value around the 30k mark.

need to get an insurer who understands mods, and can realistically quote for 500+bhp.

I am not a nutcase driver.

have never had a claim, no points, no nothing.

driven perf cars for years.

will be 25 at start of policy.

Plyus its for limited milage.

Keith Michaels are trying.

Adrian flux said I was too young.

Greenlight wont touch an import, pus am hearing bad things about them losing their impreza underwriting abilities, admittedly from other insurers!

any ideas on liverpool victoria?

25 and you have a modded 22b! Quality!!

Liverpool Victoria will probably be your best bet. You could try tesco but im not to sure if they will or what price they will charge!

Don't go to Tesco. They may be cheap, but the service is appauling and they only have your business for a year. Rubbish!

Try Rum @ Schofields.

rum might be doable now that I am 25.

I am kinda looking for the personal touch insurance wise, as companies that allow mods will have a heart attack when I start explaining what I have.

I may genuinely be in a position when I have to revert it back to standard and sell the mods just to indure it.

That will make me mad!

Adam, was in a similar position earlier this year renewing the 22B but I'm older (30) and the best price I was quoted came from A-Plan Insurance with ALL mods declared ie gems, exhaust, forge, ap's etc etc. They just wanted to know replacement value really.

Adam,

Have you tried Chris Knott? I spoke to Chris Knott himself and was ok for my modified UK, me aged 26. Not sure about imports but worth a try.

0800 917 2274.

also got a webby with a call me button www.ckinsurance.co.uk

Hope that helps, good luck!
Cheers
Neil.

Adam, have you tried Tom (aka *Rum on here) at Schofields? I can't remember their age limit he certainly gives a personal service and knows all about scoobs. I'm insured with them on my import Eunos (I know it's not quite in the 22B league ) Ring: 01132 500377

Sal
