Tony, more details m8 please?
I`ve just insured the Evo with L&V and i`m looking to buy my 'mothers' 106 diesel on the policy too (driving it on my 3rd party clause a.t.m. while she insures it, but want to change it over really).
How much more was it, and how did the price increase compare against normal quotes for the work car? I presume they gave you full NCD on both cars?
Rich.

Rich,
Im after a (swear word coming now ) Ford Mondeo! as a run around.
The quotes i was getting for said car (a 94/95 model) were around 1150 quid TPFT but with LV and paying 1032 this year on me scoob ill be paying 1800 next year with both the Ford and the Scoob fully comp protected which is cheaper than the TPFT.
I will have to fork out 300 quid upto my renewal date (4 months time) though for coverage up till then, the difference between a few cars i looked at was about 50 quid (escort 1.6 16v v mondeo 1.8 16v) for a year.
Hope this helps
