Hi John, im looking at buying a scooby in the next few weeks. The trouble is im only 21 with 1 years no claims, no accidents or convictions. I cant get any type of sensible quote. The best so far is £2100 under my mums insurance. any advice you can give me.

Just looking into the insurance side as I am going to splash in and get myself a scooby, after having two through work the new job doesn't come with a company car so I am having to get some insurance

My Question is

My wife and I want to drive it she's 37 and I am 30 Should she be the first named driver and me the second or doesn't it really matter?

Shouldn't really matter m8.

You might find that putting the policy in her name might come out slightly cheaper, but a lot will depend on her driving record and how much NCB she has.
