Well done Elephant.co.uk!

Recently had a payout from Elephant.co.uk on the imported WRX I stupidly managed to write off 3 weeks after buying it.
Paid out in full, less the excess & £50.
It was efficiently but very thoroughly dealt with -
They appointed a claims assessor who checked everything - down to where I worked, exactly what my route was going to be (to prove I was commuting like I said), all about the car. It pays to be 100% honest when arranging insurance!
They offered £500 less but didn't argue when I said for the milage I'ld done £50 was the most the car would have depreciated and quoted lots of examples from Autotrader to prove my point.
Well done guys.
I'ld recommend them (and Admiral & Bell Direct 'cos they're all the same company) to anyone

That's good to hear since I've just taken out a policy with them.
However many thanks to Rum* at Schofields for last years cover. Excellent customer service, mod & trackday friendly.
It's just a shame that Schofields couldn't get close to the Elephant price, I'd much prefer to handover my money to somebody I know & trust (?) than a faceless multinational.
But at the end of the day, money talks and £667 compared to £1095 for a MY02 STI UK sounds good value to me!
