I am buying a Forester Turbo to lug my rally car around the UK and have full NCB's on the Impreza, Elise and Clio Cup. But I find myself in the position of having to start a new policy with no NCB's and have got quotes over £2K!!!!!!!! when I've never paid more than £900 for any car I've owned, including the above.

Can anyone suggest a route to getting around this or getting a finding an Ins Co that does hefty intro discounts?? One issue is that it will be a Forster S/TB, the JDM model.

Hello there you could try quotelinedirect.co.uk , I have just insured the wife's impreza with them they were very good for zero no claims disc. tel 0870 444 2515 the guy I spoke to was called Andrew he was very helpfull, you can get a quote on line but it gets about £60 cheaper after you phone then to confirm the price. Give tehm a try
