Does anyone know what tesco are like with mods? How much extra should it be for an exhaust+chip. How much extra are you paying for your mods?

 

i have my type r insured with tescs, they will execpt mods.

mine has some minor mods such as exhaust, induction filter, alloys
and some body mods.

they ask the question "how much % bhp increase will these mods
give" depending on what bracket u come under will have a bearing on
the increase in premium or excess.

any more info, im happy to help.

p.s tescos will not touch any scooby without a tracker.

 

do you know what the different bhp brackets are?

 

If it has'nt changed since i spoke to them last feb, between
1 - 10% and so on, if u can keep between 1 - 10 yor sorted and
won't be gettin 4 jobs to pay for the extra prem!

I am with tesco's ...

MY01 WRX .. TSL Decat , Magnex 6x4 BB, ITG filter ..
up to 10% power gain cost me approx 10% extra on my premium ..
other cosmetic mods such as morettes,spoiler lifter etc declared but no price hike ...
