I'm 26 and have a MY99 scoob turbo standard and am paying £1100 fully comp.

I wanna get it PPPd and stick 17s on it and get a front splitter to give it that aggressive look. Loadsa people on here have done these mods, but how much did your insurance go up by, whose the best company out there for modded scoobs. Im with axa but i dont think they do modded cars.

Yup me!
Oh what can i say about AXA
I went from a Pug 306 GTI-6 to a scoob (30 at the time) and they refused to insure the scoob (UK turbo, new, standard )
Im now with Liverpool Victoria who are alot better

LV - when quoted chap said "were these mods pre registration?"
Answer "erm...yes"
We don't need to know then - classed as standard. (!?!)
Didn't get this in writing though.

Used to be with AXA - they didn't increase premium for Morettes and 17" wheels on an MY98.

I'm with AXA & have been for a couple of years ...But not anymore , I changed my exhaust (de-cat ) I informed them of this & they didn't like it at all , to the extent where I got a letter from them saying my policy will cease in 10 days.
Thankfully after some serious grovelling they agreed to continue the cover but they won't be re-quoting !!! AXA don't like Mods!!!
