Hi,

I am insured with elephant and have just asked them about PPP for my STi 7.

they said they wouldn't cover it.

I'm sure I have read here that members are covered with PPP with elephant.

Anyone care to enlighten me ?

Cool

I'm covered with them for a 02 WRX with PPP (they wanted a couple of hundred quid extra) but perhaps they have a magic BHP figure or something they don't like hence ok WRX but not the STi with PPP.

Good luck.

Well, I emailed them again saying that there are members with PPP.

I got this response back:

"I am unable to comment as to whether other people have this modification and are insured with us.
We, as an insurance company, do not insure this type of modification under any circumstances."

Oh well, looks like the PPP will have to wait till my policy runs out then I'll take my business elsewhere.

RESULT !

I emailed elephant AGAIN, and said I wanted PPP fitted. Told them that if they won't cover me I'd switch to Liverpool Victoria.

Got an email back saying they would cover me for another £300ish quid. At least I can stay with them and clock up another 1 yr ncb. I'll shop about once the renewal comes. So it did pay to badger them.....
