I'm going to my first track day soon (I Hope) current insurer doesn't cover and I don't want to swap at the moment, so does anybody out there know any company that does cover one off track days and doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

Egger Lawson offer Competition car Insurance! Tel: 0115 9415255 for one off track days and are very helpful!

well I tried them...

wanted 260 quid for one day, 12000 sum assured and 1800 excess... F*ck that... my insurance company will up my excess to 800 for the day at no extra cost...

Would you mind posting who you are insured with and if you got written confirmation from the underwriters to say that you are covered for the track day?
