Rang L&V today to get a quote for my new wrx import,the first guy to quote me wanted £800 + fully comp,I am 38yrs old with 100 years no claims bonus,i told him that the car was a parallel uk spec car etc but he was determined to stick with the price.I hung up but decided to ring again and get another quote.This time i got a guy that knew a bit about scoobies,I gave him the speel uk spec etc 2003 model,he then quoted me £550 fully comp with marginal excesses,no alarm,no tracker.It seems to me that you have the experienced and the not so experienced working at these insurance companies,be careful.The original guy quoted me on a jap import wrx for some reason.

Seriously though,I was going to phone back my insurance company as the women i got a qoute from last night,when i was enquiring about another car,seemed to hesitate on a few points i raised about modifications.
After reading your topic,i think i will ring again.But how can people in the insurance world come up with two different figures when they work for the same company? The mind boggles!

This is common, so best advise is try and speak to the most experienced person, training a person on insurance is no match for experience.
