We've got 2 cars, a 22B and just recently a '03 STI (blobeye)
Bell Direct had our insurance and the 22 was always very reasonable - they liked the fact it was standard I guess. LOL
Now we recently swapped an S3 for the STI and the insurance (through Bell)(completely standard) was more than the 22B, and with a PPP was 50% more, despite being insured for less
Anyway renewal just up so I called Aplan and they almost halved the premium on the STI (though they couldn't do the 22B cheaper) so
my business has moved.
Anyway £850 for a My03 STI PPP'd with 18" wheels. Protected Fully Comp. Nice! I'm 33, full NCB, SP60 , parked on drive.
I spoke with a bloke called Sam on 01256 355641

Yep saw your thread which prompted me to call(so if we're ever at the same meet you can collect a free beer). Sadly I made the fatal mistake of telling them I'd been quoted £950 already so they must have known I'd be happy to see £100 saving.
Also I live in dodgy Essex which may have cost me LOL

Thumbs down

Bum, they refer imports to the Thatcham branch who is who I'm with...

The branch in Thatchams number is 0845 0711234 and they are usually very good.
