Liverpool and Victoria - STi8 not on system?

Not having much luck in my quest for a scooby today!
I have called L&V for a quote on an STi8 and they say its not on their system yet so the best they can do is quote for an RA import.
How has everyone else got their quotes from them?
Is my STi8 quote ikely to be less than the RA import?
The quote was £1145 for a non pro-drive (though I really wanted a pro-drive) quote, 32 years old, poor post code area, 6+ year ncd, no points.
