Tesco was cheapest for me. I'm 28, full NCD, 11 points (SP50 6, SP30 5), protected policy for £980. I think Imprezas are a higher group than you have stated on here, more like 20 I think. Good luck with insurance hunt.

Unhappy

No such thing as a "cheap" quote for a Scooby im afraid, it just comes down to what you are willing to pay! London and Voctoria seem to be popular on here, and gave me a comparativly good quote.
Look on the insurance pages of the forum for more help and phone numbers.
Good Luck!

think the turbo's group is 17-b which means extra conditions (read cost) over "normal" group 17 cars

Tesco - £580 Fully Comp etc etc for my 02 WRX PPP. Got an online quote from Liverpool Victoria the other week - max £460, but could be as low as £380 depending on a few things not on the online form. Can't complain about that...

Cheers

Im using Tesco at the mo,seem pretty competitive - I know lots of others are using them too.

I found a UK car much much cheaper to insure. My WRX - UK 1200 quid, an STI TYPE R Jap import 2200 quid, so I wont be getting one

I drive an MY95 WRX im 23 and have 5 years no claims and no points/convictions (touch wood) and my renewal at the end of this month is £900... A uk car of the same age e.t.c is £620...!!!

Yeah agree with Dhorwich, cheap on insurance but after sales is crap. Just renewed my policy with them this year and they sent me a letter requesting my tracker fitment proof, and that no Theft cover was in place until this had been received. On the phone to them straight away and pointed out I sent it the 1st year I was with them. Had to get through to a supervisor in the end to get it sorted.

Any actively monitored tracker would get my vote. I've just had Navtrak ADR installed, which seems very very smart - I've had the navtrak proactive on a previous car, too.

RAC trackstar is fitted as standard to P1/STI, so that seems well regarded too.

Others are also available, but I have experience of Navtrak and would now recommend their service.

Dont go for the tracker retrieve as most insurances dont like it now! You need atleast a tracker monitor.

Have a look in the security forum

Tesco asked for a tracker system and I got the bog standard Tracker. They were happy enough.
