Question

How many years NCD does 60% discount equate to? And/or is that an industry standard or does it vary from company to company?

I was under the impression I had 3 yrs NCD but my renewal (which I have to send of for my new insurance as verification) states that I have 60% discount, which is 4 years according to Tescos (I think)......

Any help greatly appreciated....in the meantime I'm gonna do some digging....

Ok, I may have answered my own question.

It seems that companies use a different scale for NCD, but typically 60% would be 4 years.

Will have to confirm tomorrow what scale my (soon to be ex) insurers use....
