Subaru's "approved Insurer" (Broker)is tom@schofieldinsurance.co.uk - the premium for my STi/PPP has just gone DOWN (No, that is not a misprint)so the least I can do is give him a plug........

Factor into the equation that some companies will ask for a tracker and they aint cheap either. I know tescos want a tracker and cat1. You would be okay with the later UK STIs as they have RAC trackstar and cat1 I think. The X plate UK turbo didnt have a tracker but did have a cat 1 IIRC.
You could try Liverpool Victoria as they seem to be very good at the moment on scoobs.

Greenlight (01277 263030) have just got my business. Very efficient, the bloke I spoke to knew all about Imprezas and mods and a very good quote. They also cover track days (at an increased premium)
I have heard good things about schofields but cant comment on their price as I am waiting for them to call me back. I think after 4 weeks they are unlikely to do so!

I always use J W Webster in Blackburn. 01254 661511 ask for Phil Fogerty.
9 years of trying and every time I get a lower quote they manage to beat it.They may be able to help but depends on you age etc.

Just a wild stab in the dark, but try Egg.com, I got a really good quote updating form a Mondeo 2.0 LX (I've got kids all right!) Maybe they'll be good for an entire year's quote.
Worth a try.

Ive just bought my first Impreza Turbo (and its great!)..
best quote i got was through Green Light...as mentioned earlier by RB5320.
Need to meet the usual requirements like; Cat 1 Alarm/immobiliser and Tracker but found them to be Much cheaper than most of the big names! (Tesco and Direct Line)
Happy Hunting

CDCO - hello mate
We have a monthly meeting at the wiggin tree, parbold on the first wednesday night of the month (net one = 2nd April) . Most folk have turned up by 7pm and at this time of the year we just have a drink and a chat but more stuff planned for the summer
Also, get yourself along to The Cumbrian Scoobs website as there is loads going on just up the road from you
Cheers, Jon
