Just been trying to sort out insurance for an import MY95 WRX (which is being picked up from the port tomorrow) with Liverpool Victoria, who gave me a good quote of £770. They wouldn't insure the car on it's chassis no as it wasn't brand new, catch 22 as I need it insured to get it registered. So went off in search of another company and got Admiral for £856 protected no claims with the 24 year old missus on it as well (cheaper than buying her a car).

Seems crazy that they're willing to lose out on all that money for a few days until it gets registered.

Anyone else insured with Admiral? What are they like with mods?
